Watering depends on how airy soil is?

Hi!
I got a post here

That I might as well ask about here as well as it's an issue I'm having.

I've (the last 2 waterings) been following the advice to water the whole pot until run off. But I'm starting to think that that might depend on how much drainage you have maybe?

The first time I did this my plant became a bit droopy.
Now the last time it looks like this after water :

And like this after 3 days;

Using biobizz light mix, about 300 ml water in a 3gall /12 liter pot.
I'm guessing the pot isn't airy enough?

I don't think this is a watering problem (or any real problem). You might want to look at your environmental factors. 78°F day 68°F night with >40% <60% RH lights 18/6.

:goodluck:

I'm on 24/0, so no night temperature.
The Temps are between 70-80 f.
Humidity between 35-55%, mostly at 45-50%.

Thinking of maybe transplanting them to new dirt with more Perlite..
Gonna read up on it first

I think you're onto something here dude. I started this grow in the tent with recuperated coco. This coco clumps together more and acts more like soil.
Two weeks ago I prepared a new batch of coco with perlite and I can water that as much as the larger ladies and the seedlings don't droop like her bigger sisters before her in the 'old' coco. Lesson learned :pighug:

Oh, nice. Yeah.. I feel there's "something" going on with these plants/soil.
Would it work to use the same soil but just mix more Perlite in and make it more airy that way? Like... Just lifting out the plant, "quickly" mix the soil up with Perlite and put the plant into it again?

I'll give it a few more days/a week, then I might try to transplant.
Because I can't find any other reason for them to look like this..

The temp is fine.
Humidity is fine.
Nutes should be fine (used a low amount 0.6-0.8/l of advanced nutrients)
Lights are at 30 inches (90cm) away.
I've been watering as guided. (small amount of run off, whole pot, not directly at plant base)
Ph water is 6.6ish (with nutrients)

What is the pH of your nutrient solution?

6.6, think we wrote past each other :)
Just updated my last reply

So I just checked them and they are starting to get a bit yellow. So I'm fairly sure that they are overwatered.
