After mixing my nutrients I had to PH up from 5.2ph to 6.2ph. After 24 hours I had a 8.0ph so I had to adjust my PH down. At this point my water is still clear. 24 hours after I added my PH down my PH was stable, but my water is slightly cloudy. I am using RO water that is at 30 ppm with 7.0 ph. This water is stored in a clean mason jar, in a cool dark place.

1.Is this normal or does this sound like my PH down has been contaminated?

2. I also noticed that when I first mixed my nutrients in RO water, 30ppm with 7.0PH, my ph was very low, 5.2ph. I adjusted my PH up to my target of 6.2PH. After 24 hours this mixture had a very high ph of 8.0ph. This mixture is the same as above, stored in a clean mason jar, in a cool dark place. Does this make any sense? Would you all suggest that I mix my nutrients and let it sit before I adjust my PH? If so how long should I wait before I start to adjust my PH?

What are you growing in? Hydro or soil or soilless? What kind of ph up and down you using? Check the expiration date on the bottles. I dont see why they would be contaminated. But you should always mix nutrients first before you adjust the ph and make sure its mixed well with the water before checking ph and before adjusting. What are you all working with for nutrients? More details please and me and this community can help you better. Thanks
