20-25 days out from chop from breeder info. Using royal gold mendo( coco with other stuff)
For coco who uses ph water only for one week and who goes for 2 weeks.

So just because I can I went and harvested a small branch that wasn’t going to put a lot of weight on and was just not doing as awesome as a lot of the other branches. I did a quick dry with a paper bag and a hairdryer. Yes I understand you don’t get the full profile of the Turpines etc. etc. yes it got me high no I could not taste any chemicals and this was fresh off the plant no more than 2 hours ago. So I’m leaning towards nutes until harvest.

In coco I usually don't flush. If I feel its necessary, an actual flush of the medium immediately removes all available nutes, a couple 3 days should be more than enough.

In soil I really don't consider it a flush, just a backing off of the bottle the last 2 weeks. There's more than enough nutrition in soil to carry thru the last days.

When I say flush I don’t mean the typical dump a ton of water at once type. Just feeding normal amount of water over an extended period of time

Not sure I'm understanding, in coco plants are always watered to runoff with nutrients. If your not feeding, but still watering to 20% runoff that will strip all remaining nutes out of the coco in a couple waterings. You should be able to watch your ppm drop each time you water.

I think maybe a question here is appropriate.
What's the "other stuff" you use?

I get the feeling your running coco with amendments, in which case all my thoughts can be tossed. I run coco as a hydroponic substrate. And soil as a living medium.

Yes that is what I’m wanting to do water until 20% run off with no nutrients.Wasn’t sure how long most folks are doing that before harvest

I run 20% runoff whole grow, if the plant is struggling for some reason I'd go ahead and flush a couple days. If she was holding a lot of color, I might flush a couple days.

The idea behind a flush is to get rid of heavy metals... now let's think about this a moment...

Plants take things in thru roots and up to the tips to build plant stuff... water is evaporated out... so you stop feeding and keep giving water.... what evaporated out? More water. Whatever you've been putting into the plant is in the plant it's not going to dissapear from transpiration. Fruits already built. Pulling nutrition at the end will only starve her, not clean her.

After all that... I can tell smoking my weed when I flushed, and it's a little smoother. Now is that because lack of chemicals? Or is it i like thin girls?

That’s the plan for now nutes until the last couple days then jus plan water long enough for the fan leaves start to turn yellow
