Warning: This Common Food Causes Devastating Offspring Defects in New Research Study

The more evidence and literature I read about this topic, the more I turn to local (non-GMO) farms for my food. For water, I use a Berkey. I make my own shampoo, conditioner, dish detergent, laundry detergent, tooth paste, etc. Even a little time spent researching the chemicals and things in our foods and daily use products is enough to get motivated.

Again, that’s a death rate five times higher than normal – identical to the findings in the hamster study above.

non-GMO shopping guide - this interests me.

good stuff mate... yeah theres been a lot of propoganda about how they are safe... the truth being... we dont know... they hve really been studied carefully. but as the evidence stacks up... it would appear they ARE NOT safe at all.

I personally... think nature did just fine... why mess with it?

Why don't you make yourself a thread with the Recipies in...I'm sure there would be people Interested in it....

I had no idea about the numbering system!!! I have a feeling you and I are going to be talking about many, many more things as time goes by concerning these ideas, and I'm already excited about that.

Over the next year, I'm rolling out my own vegetable and herb garden. Next to that will be fruit trees as well as nuts. It has been a long time coming, and it is something I'm very passionate about. I have a love for home-grown food.

The point of nature doing just fine resonates a lot with me. It is a simple concept that many people haven't sat down and thought about. When they do, their eyes tend to really open up.

I get that same "funny feeling" about you... :smoke:

glad to have another like-minded individual around. :toke:
I, too am a farmer and organic (now switching up to biodynamic) grower myself. :toke:

Nice thread! Also a 2-year strictly organic eater and smoker (where possible).
Glad to see some people on here with their eyes open, I have tried to talk about this to loads of people and on other weed forums too..but nobody is interested at all.
For a frightening watch concerning Monsanto and how they are destroying the efforts of Organic Farmers, please watch 'What in the world are they spraying" which you can find on youtube.
Btw I have finally moved out of a flat, and am finally growing my own organic food..so far I have about 8 tomato plants, 2 lettuces, rainbow spinach, sage, basil, rosemary, sweet potatoes, potatoes, strawberries...and that's it for now...I have a lot of work to do to prepare my beds for the rest of my garden.
Anyways, JM interesting to hear you're gonna do Biodynamic, I read quite a bit of Rudolf Steiner ( who invented it ) and funnily all my organic food in SA comes from the Waldorf school here, that has a market weekly. Only thing that weirded me out, was when I read that if you have pests, you have to bury a mouse under your plants when the moon is in a certain time..etc...which, felt, weirdly ritualistic for me..

Anyway again, glad to see some organic knowledge becoming more popular!
