Live Stoners Very basic Newbie Q about Growlights

Hey !

I have never seen a growlight in real life .. only on youtube vids and pics .. and around 90% of those LED panel type grow lights appear to produce violet / pink color light ..so, do most grow lights really produce purple /pink light and not standard white light like say CFL ? Or they just appear such in digital vids / pics etc.

Thanks so much man .. I have always seen plants grow under white / yellow daylight ! So had to confirm it with experts here .. Never seen a plant grow naturally in such colored light ! .. but hopefully I should be
able to get one LED grow light in May...could you please give me any suggestion on that too? I dont think I will need to go above 2 plants..so which Led light around $100 would you suggest for 2 plants ?

I have always seen plants grow under white / yellow daylight !

Myself and others in here have changed to Autocobs and those visually look white. Very very bright. Most of the mass built led lights I owned previously, all had the purple and white depending on the choice of running full spectrum or not.
