Hi all, I am really enjoying growing autos and have been relatively successful
so far. Like to start my seedlings indoors under my LED light for the first 4-6
weeks and move them out into the Florida sun, unlimited space and found it
grows a much stouter plant then under my lights. Looking for some good
cultivars and suppliers to try under this regime. Looking for good thc and
harvest, along with with really tasty and good smelling. Thanks Dave
Growerdave not due to my awesome bud growing, but because I have
worked as an ornamental plant grower by trade and agronomist by education.

I've grown the Fastbuds Orange Sherbet outside here in Southern California where we regularly see 100+Degree F temps. It does well out there. It's "rated" by Fastbuds as preferring "very hot temps" so they got that one right. I have found that their temperatures guidelines for their strains are pretty accurate if you like Fastbuds stuff. They list all of that stuff, per strain, on their site.

Thanks, sounds tasty.

:welcome: to AFN @Growerdave
What kinda flavors are you after? Sativa, Indica or hybrid high? For example I had a Bruce Banner Auto from Sweet Seeds and this was such an phisical activating strain I'm growing it again this year in the greenhouse.

Okay, thanks. Looking for something maybe with a fruity, citrusy profile.
Did GG and carmelicious last year and they were both good.

thats perhaps not an option, because they are way too far, but just to give you an alternative. I best "know" "old" european strains, but one that I had a good tim with was:
"Auto StarRyder usually has a very fruity and tropical aroma. Many customers experience a mix of tropical fruits, such as pineapple, which is mixed with notes of citrus and blueberries."...lalalala, all reps to dutch passion.
There may be many like this meanwhile, but I was really blessed with an easy to grow outside at high temps...all plants indoor and outdoor were fully flavoured pineapple and citrus with big fat buds.
I have instantly recognized the smell when a friend of mine invited me over to his grow some years after i stopped growing.
don't forget the "old" ones.

Thanks, I may have to try it next. Sticking with autos for now to avoid bud mold that's terrible outside during natural blooming time here in FL.
Can get late afternoon rains for days on end. Put the Hemp boys out of business in 2 yearts.

Agree, here it is not as humid as in Florida. But the heat and pests make it a big hassle to go a full photo grow cycle outdoors. I've had massive photo plants get hit hard with pests. On the upside, you do learn a lot on the fly. Good luck.
