Does anybody know of any up to date growing instructions for Autflower strains. Everything that I can find only talk about the the Lowryder. There have been so many new strains developed since those instructiolns were posted that I was wondering if there is any new information or growing methods for AF's?

Well, this site is basically one big guide for growing Autoflowers, and it's updated every minute. What type of information are you looking for? I'd recommend checking out the New Growers forum and posting up some details of your situation. Budget, experience level, equipment and seeds you already have on hand, etc. There are lots of people who can help you customize the right setup for your needs. There's not really one guide to point to because of all the variables involved (lighting types, soil/hydro, indoor/outdoor, different nutes, etc.).

Thanks AndyB...I think I've done enough growing with photo plants that I'll be ok on this grow. I guess what I was alluding to is that with so many new strains of AF that grow much larger than the original lowryders, there might be new information on nutes, techniques, light requirments, lst, etc..in one place.

This is a very interestin site and already most of my questions have been answered.

I don't know of a single location for all this, but if you search on a strain you'll probably find some grow logs and/or strain reviews. For the most part I've seen the popular auto strains grown in lots of different ways around here. Flouro, LED, and HID all have their advocates who grow very nice plants. Some feed organic, others synthetic, and others use teas. Just depends on what you're looking to do. Things like light cycle and nute schedules are still debated & I don't think there will ever be a firm set of guidelines that everyone will agree upon. One thing about autos is that they'll make you a better grower due to the short lifespan and variety of phenotypes you might see. You might duplicate someone else's setup perfectly but still get very different results. Definitely much more thought involved than with clones or some of the photo strains that are very predictable, but that's part of the fun.

For an overall great read on growing big autos, I'd recommend FD's article if you haven't seen it yet:

Other than that, I'd just recommend starting a grow log and people will be happy to answer questions and give you tips along the way.
