Ok this will probably be a long scattered post. I'm just a bit confused about my breeding project. Here's my goal i want to breed my photoperiod strain to become an autoflower. While carrying as many of the photoperiods traits as possible. First off the plants I'm working with. I have 2 unknown photoperiod strain bag seeds from the same nug. Was a super tasty mellow smoke I really enjoyed so I couldn't resist popping the beans. One turned out to be a male i harvested and saved pollen then chopped him down. Second one was a female and is currently just preflowering. Next I have a few feminized unknown autoflowers. I have already pollinated one of the female autos with the male photo so I'm now awaiting my f1 seeds. My questions are
In my f1 seeds if I'm interpreting what I'm reading correctly. They should be 75% photos and 25% autos and roughly 50/50 male and female?
Then to bring out the autoflower traits breed one of the 25% of f1 that show auto traits back to another unknown fem?
What would be the easiest way for me to go about this and get closest to my wanted outcome?
