Hi all,

I’m on my second Grow, first was cheap CFLs then I invested in a 600W Meizhi LED.

The first Grow was ok, struggled with temps but harvested plenty.. since moving to the LED, fitting an exhaust and CF my temps are now more stable.. I was thinking my next Grow would be an improvement having got my setup finished!

My problem is that I have not changed anything apart from the light and stabilized the temps but this 2nd Grow I have leaves yellowing and wilting.

At first I thought it could be my watering schedule, I had watered a touch heavily as I was going away for a couple of days and up until this point they had looked fine (this was when I took the attached pics).. so I cut right back hoping for improvement but unfortunately over the next day or so it got worse! I’d now overwatered, and then cut back on the water so it got me thinking....could my new LED be too strong for the plants or am I looking in the wrong direction?

Any ideas would be great, I’m a complete novice grower but I did do a lot of research into setting up my Grow room and I thought I’d cracked it![emoji31]

The day after these pictures were taken the bottom leaves shriveled and either fell or were loose enough to come straight off when touched and the general condition of the plants does not look healthy!! I’d say maybe 4/5 of the larger leaves dropped.

Here’s my Grow info:

Northern Lights Auto x2
Approx 4weeks from germ
2x3x5 larder style fridge
Temps: 22-26c (night-day)
RH: between 30-40%
PH: 6.4
Biobizz LightMix
Biobizz Grow (alternate feed/water/feed etc)

RH a tad low, also looks like maybe a little overwatered, dark foliage might be a bit of N tox (same strains not always able to take the same amount of nutes)

They are also deep in the pots! Do you have much airflow?

Thanks for the reply!

For airflow I have a 4inch extraction fan and a passive intake, with 2x 6inch oscillating fans moving air around.

They do look deep in the pots and I’m not sure why, they weren’t planted deep but almost as soon as they broke the surface the leaves started growing!

Could be low airflow down at soil lvl, looks ok. Just threw throwing a few things out there!

Thanks, it’s annoyed me tbh! [emoji23] thought I had everything figured and then this! Well only time will tell now! If they don’t perform I’ll just have to pop some more! [emoji100][emoji100][emoji100]

How close was your light? And the bottom leaf looks like it got your nute water on it..

The light was and is approx 18inch away from them which is what the manufacturer said in the product description.. someone else mentioned airflow so I’ve turned the extraction fan up full as I had it on half. The lower leave could have got the nute water on as the lower leaves are practically touching the soil!! My last grow grew about 3inch of stalk before the first leaves this one almost has no stalk!
