Understanding humanity

Hi I'm new to the grow tent, my grow tent is small 80x80x180. I've added a levoit humidifier and my govee thermostat never seems to read the correct information. The humidifier doesn't hit the correct humidity and runs out within 12 hours when it's supposed to work for 60 hrs. I would like to know how to get the correct humidity it's stressing me out now

I don’t think any of us will ever understand humanity. That being said, what do you have controlling your humidifier? Is it on a timer or some sort of controller?

Seriously - don't rely on the humidistat on the humidifier. They are notoriously unreliable. Use a sperate controller. The Inkbird is inexpensive and relatively accurate/reliable. IMHO, etc.

The humidifier once dropped below 5 % shuts off. And the control unit that reads the temp and humidity is no where near correct. I need to get it right its driving me crazy

Honestly, I don’t mess with my humidity. It’s dry here and my plants probably suffer a little for it but I’m doing ok without the added headache of a humidifier.

30-40. Always. I haven’t had many issues other than once I harvest. To dry to hang plants whole so have to chop into smaller pieces and use paper bags.
