Hi I about 3 weeks ago got a 2x2 tent with one vioarspectra va600 with pulls 132w from the wall.I test my lux and par numbers par was hi 400s to low ro mid500s .So I just ordered a second va600.

My question is how much improvement will I get and is 2 lights drawing 132w each whi k equals 265w or close to that better than one 250iswat draw from one light.

Before u say blurple is not as good as newer white I know this but I'm using what I have.

The old rule is 2 is better than one....Personally, I prefer separate & multiple lights for the adjustability since I always have plants at different stages.
Blurple grows weed so don't excuse using what you have. I'm currently using an old blurple as one of my 5 lights in use....it performs its purpose just like the cobs and qbs with it. Since I only run everything on 12/12, I blast about 600w wall draw for that duration but only after 3 week veg in a separate area.

In a 2x2, I doubt that there will be a lot of advantage to being able to adjust light distance to different height plants, because fitting multiple plants of varying height into that space is not likely the best plan anyway. Any good sized plant is going to use most of the space in your 2x2. OTOH, your light distribution might be a bit better with two lights than a single with comparable wattage, and if one light craps out on you, the second one will keep the girls alive if a bit less happy until you can replace the failed one or finish the grow. All considered, there is little downside to having two and a few advantages, so I think you are fine sticking with what you have ordered as long as they will physically fit in your 2x2 footprint.
Good luck with it. :pighug:

Also, I believe your units are dimmable so you should have some flexibility on PAR values. I use the P2000 in an ancillary grow space and have noticed that the dimmer/rheostat is very non-linear and rough - but good enough for our purposes. HTH, IMHO, YMMV, etc.

Yes they are both dimmable

I was gonna go with that light but too many people said blurple would not cut it.I really like their lights for what you get and sometimes Amazon has them for 20-40 bucks less than their own website. Will definitely go with Viparspectra next time.Their VS 1000 can be found for 50 bucks on sale.

I've got under 100$ in both and together they draw 264w + or- 3% I've read blurple isn't as good but it's what I got but I've seen some damn nice plants grown with them.

If they both fit. do it.

You'll get better coverage using two lights instead of one, if they are dimmable (so you can regulate energy consumption) then id definitely go with two instead of one
