New Grower Trying Bowl Training

Stumbled upon a YouTube video of a guy doing this. Seems like a low stress way to train autoflowers. I searched Google and pretty much the only thing I could find it were the guys videos about it.

Has anyone else ever done this? If so were the results satisfactory for you? I also need someone to tell me if I am doing this correctly or not. My plants are 20 days old, is this too early?

For those of you who don't know bowl training is a method of training where you pull your branches to the side like I have done in the pictures below. Basically the idea is that you pull the branches to the dies of your pot allowing more light penetration to the inside of the plants.

That's low stress training, lst, and just about all the training autos will take well. Most growers do that or something similar. [emoji106]

You might want to mull over the thought of raising the carbon filter off floor of tent.

Why? Also too much weight for my grow tent and kind of not enough space up there with my big ass hood. I like it on the floor though, works well. I understand your reasoning though.

Yeah I thought it seemed very similar to LST, instead of the whole plant though just doing single branches. Thanks for letting me know, hope it works out well.

I know the video you are talking about. And the dude has monster plants too

Does this look right? All the tops have turned up now I believe. This is the third day since I tied them down. My plants are pretty tight as far as structure goes.

They are also getting ready to start stretching is that good good thing or a bad thing? Trying to figure out the best time to start doing this. I can take more pictures if needed. I feel like they filled in really fast.
