I have vaped all but two days the past 13 or so years and I would challenge the President to a game of Trivial Pursuit any day any time.

Sounds like only thing negative he has to say about it. As someone whose smoked for 15+ years its hard to say if I didn't smoke where my IQ would be without marijuana all these years. The only solution is to legalize it federally and let's get this testing done :smoking:

South Dakota has both medicinal and recreational separately on the ballot in November. SD has a real staunch republican history, and the current administration vetoed industrial hemp legalization last year because Governor Noem stated it's just a back door approach to legalizing marijuana. It's going to take alot of educating the public to get these voted into law.

Face palm is accurate. It all will go to the general fund regardless of what they say. They said the same thing about lottery money. We all saw how that worked.

I lived in South Dakota in the late 80's until '92. Hemp grew wild everywhere in Eastern South Dakota and in every state adjoining Eastern South Dakota. I currently grow my own in Legal Michigan and do most of my growing outside in the short Summer. If Eastern South Dakota still has fields of wild hemp growing everywhere I wouldn't think growing outside would work very well.

I have never paid a dime in tax on my weed as I have never bought any in a state licensed dispensary. In Michigan the price of dispensary weed is ridiculous. I'd have to drive 100+ miles roundtrip just to get to the nearest recreational dispensary and pay $400 or more for an ounce. A friend in Arizona buys medical weed from a dispensary in Tucson for under $100 an ounce during specials.

I remember years ago Michigan approved lotteries and money was supposed to be for schools. That was changed years ago with most money going into the general fund in the state budget and then evaporating. Same will happen with weed taxes. I will never pay the taxes, always grow my own.

As far as losing IQ points. Entirely possible. My mental abilities are reduced when I over indulge.
