Quick question if I let my autos run in medium pots for say 30 days with biobizz light mix then repot to a large size pot with biobizz all mix would the new soil have enough nutrients for them to finish using just plain water

Define 'medium' and large.
Personally I start every plant...auto and photo...in 12 oz solo BBLM and trans to 3 ltr BBLM at 10 days.
I've never repotted an auto after that.

@automan2 Medium let's say a 2 gallon smart pot for 20 to 30 day depending on root growth then repot to a 7 gallon fabric pot with fresh medium think I'll try it out on my next run

@cubfaninmo id guess that 2 but if I top dress with guano and worm casting slow release around day 50 maybe it will recharge the soil

TBH...all old stoners have tried different potting techniques long ago when we all were doing every little thing trying to have a monster to show....
then we settle down and let weed kinda grow itself with less and less manipulation.
I say....try it all just to say you tried...best teaching tool is patience afterwards.

@automan2 i get what your saying but it's kind of the opposite of what I want to achieve I just want to grow a plant from start to finish using no nutrients just what the soil provides I kind of suck at feeding I'm learning every grow but I got more bad harvests than good due to some deficiency/toxicity or lock out the first 30 days or so are perfect lush green plants so I thought why not catch them before the become root bound repot with a forest medium with a higher npk and continue to feed PhD water

Towlie maybe look into biotabs that may be of use to you if your after just the water type of grow i ran them once in coco but id say a lite mix of soil would be a better medium

@St. Tom funny u should mention that was in the hydro shop yesterday looking at the starter pack I'll do some research and maybe try it out

was going through the seed stash last night and the Mrs said what u planning I what my cupboard back after this run and keeps giving me a hard time about growing so might have to stop for a while or buy a new tent and try and sneak a grow in the attic

My grow mischief tests her patience, but she seems to have lots of it. For which I am thankful.
