Alright fellows. Some say to trim fan leaves and large leaves on the plant and flowers to promote flower growth. Why have the plants energy grow leaves. We want big sticky flowers. Others say leave the fan leaves because the flowers feed off of the leaves to produce big sticky flowers.
I've recommended to my friends when they ask how I grow nice healthy plants is use the (LTFA) method. Leave The Fuck Alone. But then again I have trimmed them out before for stealth reasons and they grew well.
What's everyone here think? Wittel them down, or LTFA?

I prefer LTFA, especially with autos. The only leaves I removed are some of the lower ones to open up the bottom of the plant for better circulation.

i agree with you and muddy i dont take any leaves off unless its damaged to the point of no return. i just let the plant do its own thing.:bong:

Hey for no stress i use Dr. Autoflowers Fan leaf tucking technique i think he might still have it on his youtube acc but i dont know just tuck the fan leaves under the nodes growth

since you can just keep veggin photos after you Cut and prune the fan leaves doesnt really matter for photoperiod strains but since autos flower automatically we cant take back the stress will have on the overall yield just tuck em under

When I was younger, I couldn't keep my hands off of them... topping, pruning, etc. But, that was all with photo's. Since I started growing again, I'm scared to touch 'em, but I'm growing auto's. (if you've ever watched a bunch of stunted auto's finish out their last few weeks, you might be scared too... LOL)

While I was topping and pruning, my best growing buddy always left his alone. His turned out better.

With my photos I cut on them quite a bit. I used the same method on my first grow but the next batch is is going to be different. I feel like I stunted mine by doing it. Ill continue to cut on photos but ill just leave them on the autos. But I will say this. That little biotch in my thread had no fan leaves left on her and what she produced is surprisingly good.

Let nature go the direction it wants. I say leave it the F-alone. Millions of years of evolution can't be wrong. The plant will drop the fan leaves when it is done with them. Its the leaves that feed the buds, not the other way around.

How would you like it if someone started taking food off of your dinner plate? I'd want to beat their ass. The plants might feel the same way. I don't F- with mother nature. Just my .02 cents. My buds turn out perfect when I don't touch them. But to each their own.

Maybe you can grow back to back plants and have one get leaves pruned and the other one gets left alone. Let me tell you a little secret........get closer.......closer - I've already tested that myth. Knowing that, I revert to my firt sentence in this post.
