While looking at some strain descriptions and being a little high. I kept seeing the descriptive "Christmas tree" that started a thinking process. Its Getting close to Christmas and I hadn't given it a thought. What should I get for people. Ill give some older friends some mj. Marijuana for Christmas presents that's cool. I'd like it. decorating...that sucks. Hafta hang all those damn lights for everybody and their brother. Shit..just thought the plants might like the Christmas light thing. Damn things are pretty bright...
I'm sure some can see where I'm headed with this. No they aren't hps or LED. But I'm thinking they might work in a pinch so I'm gonna see. I asked a question a few months ago about using gels to change the light spectrum. It was said it was about the nanometer of light and not the type of light going through a filter. Well....yes and no. Many years ago indoor growers didn't have HPS or LED lights but they grew anyway. How did they do it when it came time to flowering? They used heat lamps often with the red front glass on them. Sides were often clear. So that tells me that in theory yes the gel would help AND that for stealth purposes the Christmas lights might too.
I'm hoping they have Christmas lights on the shelves now. I'm pretty sure they do so as soon as I see some results whether good or bad ill let ya know.
