You're on to something with lights, my 1st T5 grow I only switched out a few of the 6500k bulbs for 2700k bulbs,,,,lots of stretch next T% grow I used all 2700k except 1x6500k lot less stretch that way,,,,,,,definitely blue spectrum in bloom caused my stretch issue,,,,,,,, ;-)I have found that the amount of blue in the lights may cause more stretching more blue spectrums in the bloom cycle can cause some long stretching. And it may be strain specific as well. If you have your Temps in check your humidity in check and nutrition in check and light spectrum in check then it may be the type of cannabis you have. If hight is an issue try some LST and train away if you wish. I have found from my own little testing to water first light they tend to stretch less imo may have been they type of cannabis in question but I can't say for sure. I also watered before lights out and found they stretched more and it was the same type as the one watered at first light may have been difrent phenotype but it was a solid strain with little to no different sisters so to speak. Are you using hps or led
look at that tree!Hopefully this pic will De-Bunk any thought that 24/7 lighting will control height...

I have tried all kinds of light spectrums over the years of growing this lovely plant. And I have finally settled on leds and CFL mix is perfect for me I have my leds above and set up some CFL under the canopy. Helps those little nugs get a bit bigger along with a few other benefits as well. I have also tried cooling and heating the root ball as well. In my grows indoors some times the room temp is 75f to 80f and the soil will be at 60f to 65f and they grew slow. And little to no stretch. But I warmed the pots with heating pads and they grew like wired fire. A lot of people forget boutique the Temps at the root zone. You're on to something with lights, my 1st T5 grow I only switched out a few of the 6500k bulbs for 2700k bulbs,,,,lots of stretch next T% grow I used all 2700k except 1x6500k lot less stretch that way,,,,,,,definitely blue spectrum in bloom caused my stretch issue,,,,,,,, ;-)
I had been planning on getting myself couple leds and using them to flower my girls,,,,,,last couple times veg with T% finished out with HPS, but heat constant issue, light bill crazy high. Finances permitting here's what I hope to get next month- I think 2 of these would do just lovely in my small area Amazon product ASIN B0186U5N20I have tried all kinds of light spectrums over the years of growing this lovely plant. During the grow season getting 24 hrs of light, 10 hrs direct sun a day; green house is on South side of cabin so when sun transits around to the North green house is in the shade. Get 7 months of strong production from solar panels, I get 90 days to grow in the green house. During winter sun goes behind southern ridge and comes back about 35 days later, get 4 hrs of usable outdoor light at solstice, although if it's overcast pretty dark and murky out. Only about 30 miles north of the arctic here. Up in Barrow they get 3 months dark!Luckily for me the sun is now lifting which makes driving a bit more easier!! Couldn't imagine it constant
Interesting your posting on this thread, so do you get 6 mths light 6 mths dark?
