As I’m putting to together my first grow, (only 1 tent) One seed germed straightaway others didn’t so I replaced them and so they’re about a week behind…then I wanted to try solo cup challenge for for fun. Then the mephisto holiday drop happened. So yea, my question is…When you have a sprout ready to go under the light, and you already have the light at 100% for existing plants, Can new sprout safely just jump into that tent with the (LED) light at 100%. My light recommended an acclimation period where the lights are at lower % and gradually work towards 100%

Yes, just dont put the seedling under close, direct light. Off in a corner is doable, if necessary.. but if thats the only option and your light needs to stay put, , filter/shade the light with something over the top of the seedling kinda like an opaque greenhouse roof does and have a dome over it for a bit. .. . gl

Love the computer fans. Your setup looks remarkable similar to mine:

I have four of the fans mounted to move air low in the canopy, one for each of the four pots. Seems to work so far, and is likely more reliable than cheap oscillating fans. The fans on the right are out of sight behind the Mephisto 24C pot. There is also a 10" or so oscillating fan near the ceiling.:pighug:

Sprouting seeds should have no problem with light exposure (within reason). In nature, the sprouts are generally exposed directly to the sun.

I’m running seedlings (day 1) at 500ppfd on the edges of tent, with flowering plants at 900. Helps slow down the seedling stretch. Figure the sun runs a lot more intense than that. :smoking:
I take this same approach. I put seedlings under the same light as flowering plants from the day they break soil. They’re obviously shorter but they love light from day 1. Makes a thicker stem too IMO
