The cabinet is around 12 sq ft and I'd like to just put a 4" opening thru the sidewall, stick the nose of it in the cab and mount the backside with filter on a shelf, in the cabinet next to it (if that makes sense) I have a 2'x4 bulb t-5 that is going in the cab and would like enough cfm's to pull out some of the heat. I'll probably put like a 120 cfm for intake and stick an osillating desk fan in the cab also.

12 sqft if thats the foot print you need far more light

My newbie colors are shining thru lol. Have to re-think it now! Probably sell the t5 and look into either a 400w hps w/adjustable ballast or maybe an led

250 would be ok iIthink 400w is over kill shame the dont do a 300 lol
to be fair t5s would be better you just need more of them as light gap will be an issue 34" is very small a 240w blackstar might be nice also

Just ordered a china brand 240w from egay for 200.00 shipped........now to the DIY section for homemade scrubbers!
