Just had some good info back from one of the eBay sellers I will forward what he had to say in a little while and going back in a little while but general jist is its totaly personal preference with regards HLG board or the autocob lights. And goes on about how many etc would be needed for space, as I say will forward this on shortly.

Was thinking 2 100 and get 1 3k and 1 4k

3k should be plenty for both veg and flower. 4k may not be red enough for flower, imo. I would do 2 3000k if those are the choices.

Would the 260 be a better choice, $30 seems worth it if it would be better then 2x100

Strangly enough I have read about that before and pretty sure I have read people are stealing the newer street lights (This world) what's it coming to. But the guy from eBay has messaged me back, saying his lights are on par with the CobShop lights just a few differences. I think he is referring too the £80 ones as the £110 are same wattage but with cree lights in them, next ones up, are the £165 but they are 100w.

He says the price of 4 x120 boards would be the same as the 1 x 250w kit, I have however asked if he can do the 120s in 3500k and with some epi far red lights, waiting on a response but I said no rush. Here is his message @unkn0wn I think your find it informative also.

"hi there, those lights at cobnet are just the same as mine they use a slightly diff heatsink and a citizen chip a 1812 which run at a bit higher voltage than the 1212 ive used, i use the 1212 cos i like the low 36volts it needs,
lower volts better for safety in my view. Other wise, it is the same thing they prob use the same hbg meanwell driver its the only one to use."

I then asked what he felt was better ie boards or the more circular lights and said he found no difference really, more preference.

(For some reason I can't copy and paste last part, so added a pic)

I think I am definitely leaning towards the boards, just not sure wether to go for 4 x 120w or 1 x 250w I think I will go for the four and top up with a bigger one at a later date with the and with the 120 I am actually getting more wattage than I would with the other ones. If he cant do red lights on them, then that can wait till I get a 250w.

He seems to know his stuff, and has good rep, feel good laying down the benjamins.

I just seen Auto's other post, yea from what I have heard, red and seen better with just 300k, or maybe see what the guy I am getting from can do but then shipping might be costly, but going by what he's saying better doing 4 120's for same price as 250/60 (I see various things written when it comes to wattage)

At least lots of info hopefully help others in time.
