Ok, it’s been a while since I ran any DP strains. In fact I think I’ve only run DP outdoors years ago (auto Frisian Dew and auto Ultimate) I had a friend run think different, auto Durban Poison, and Colorado Cookies for me in the past and I just loved Think Different. Last year I was able to procure some Think Big seeds and ended up having to pass them along to a friend. It was just first foray into growing and stunted them outdoors and didn’t really produce much of anything... So, this is definitely long overdue!
A few weeks ago I was gifted some millennium soils starter pouches and grow bags from a vendor at a Cannabis Expo. I figure I’ll give them a try. I’ll be growing 4 Think Big this round. All 4 are currently on day 4 and are in starter pouches. 3 of them will then be placed in the millennium soils grow bags and one will be dropped into a 3 gal airpot in Canna Coco. I’ll be feeding them Advanced Nutrients using Tangs old AN feeding schedule from a while back. They’re currently in a 2x4 with 3 Autocobs. I have a 5x5 on its way! Planning on adding more lights before needed. I figure they can be under 3 til day 25 maybe even as late as day 30??? Hopefully I have it all sorted in the next week or two.
So, day 4. Two of the seedlings look good. The other two- not so good... Tough for me to say what the issue is...
1) genetic?
2) was the light a bit too much for them?
3) something to do with the medium?
The first few days I bottom fed them with a light mix of CaliMagic and Voodoo Juice. Today I bottom fed them with the same plus grow A+B. The 2 that aren’t quite right have some white/light splotches on the first and only set of leaves so far and have also curled upwards. I’m not too worried though as I’m confident that they’ll grow out of this just fine... (fingers crossed!)
I had the lights @4ft above initially. The 2 troubled seedlings have the light an additional 6inches above for now. I’ll post some pics tomorrow. I’ll make an effort to tag some people when I feel there is something to show, but by all means I invite any and all to join me for the ride! Please feel free to chime in with any input or questions. The more sets of eyes we can have on this, the better off we’ll be. Bye for now and expect to see a lot more of me in here going forward.
