southeast usa---they were planted in january in a cup for 5 or 6 days then in containers to the woods.slowed growing then took off--when it gets cold they sit there but survive with no damage--thats great where i am--sitting out plants when most people dont even consider it

Awesome littleT! I was actually thinking of doing this myself around january but did not. I am in the SOutheast US as well. Will be keeping this in mind for next winter:)

Hmm, What state? I considered it here in ky but Not sure i am south enough...

hey littleT,
i'm also in the SE USA, the southern most state, and I did an outdoor grow this past winter. the grow was great but i had a constant problem with pests - aphids, gnats, leaf miners and even some fungus (which i nipped in the bud, no pun intended). it was a real war zone but i won that campaign. i can't imagine trying an outdoor grow here in the summer.
have you had many problems with pests?
