As some might know I have been struggling with small/miniature plants of no bigger than 20cm in height.
I have grown only 4 auto plants so far, from them I have managed to get some seeds with CS. Unfortunately ( or fortunately) when I was harvesting seeds about 6 days ago, I noticed many of the seeds are sprouting while still in the mother plant. This has now given me the chance to plant all these germinating seeds in different "environments" and figure out what is the problem here (get them bigger than 20 cm). My main suspicion for my stunted plants are compacted soils but there is a possibility of a ph problem as well although plant leaves are very healthy and green and show no other signs of stress besides small size.
Most Seeds are a cross between Blue Cush x Onyx
I am also busy soaking a Sweet Chees x Onyx
Some seeds have been planted in the vegetable garden, in raised beds, amended with horse manure and straw. Very very fast draining, well aerated sandy soil. I grow great veg there, hoping my herb also loves it!
Some in pots of of soil and composted horse manure. Smaller pots used this time with better drainage and more airy soils. Pots have different ratios of manure and soil as part of the experiment.
I will also be using chicken manure as fertilizer this time, last time was mostly horse manure compost teas during "veg" and monopotassium phosphate during flowering.
Below pictures of the Blue Cush hybrids at about 3 days since sprouting through the soil, 6 days since I noticed the seeds germinating.
