It's been a long time since I showed my face here in the Network, life's usual BS and other commitments have kept me away but I've been working on a few strains in the background to keep myself busy and I'm just about to take one cross through another generation and thought I'd drop by here to show the process as I work it and to say a big hello to everyone here at AFN :tiphat:

I'm actually pulling out two strains to play with on this run however I'll only be putting one into development, the other is just a photo cross which is being grown to show me the results of a previous pollination I made a couple of months ago so I have an idea where to take it in the future. I don't use feminised pollen to breed so there will be a fair mix of males and females shown.
A decent handful of seeds have been sown so as soon as they surface I shall return with pictures and details of the cross.

I hope everyone has been looking after themselves :pighug:

Cheers Magic, Nice to see you too :d5:

I've decided to pull a couple of my keeper photo plants into the flowering tent to thin things out here so I may get busy with the pollen and put them to use before I lose them, need to do a deep clean so I'm closing down the big tent briefly. SinMint (male), Animal Cookies and Purple Haze (females)... I'm sure something interesting will happen there :)

I'll drop by with an update soon :Sharing One:

Sound good man can't wait to see any pics you may have! Any autos your got high hopes for?

Hi Magic, sorry for the delay. I'm just growing this years first batch of outdoor autos as we speak actually. Got lots of Stone's work out there atm but I do have one of my crosses in the mix along with a nice male Girl Scout Cookie I have held on standby.
Not too sure what the plan here is other than to just make it to harvest but if I find something I like out of all these plants, I may use my male GSC to have a little fun.

I haven't been taking pictures of these as they grow but indoors in the tent I have a bunch of flowering photos which have just been sprinkled with some Super Silver Haze pollen. Now they're all in flower I'll snap some photos and post them tomorrow.
In there I have, Tangerine Trainwreck Haze, Goji OG, Pineapple Hashplant and a Durban Poison.

Just to get the photos started though, here are my auto outdoorsers.

These are being grown in a trough along with 15-20 other plants, and atm, are just being fed plain water.

Nice to see you back Capt! I thought you might be a lurker forever.... Why dont you use feminized pollen for breeding? Hope things have been going well for you.

Hi treeman, I'm good thanks. Glad to be back. How about yourself? Hope all's well with you?

I did use feminised pollen for a while, and I still grow feminised seeds, but I quickly found that feminising my own plants didn't suit my style, it just felt kinda false and unnatural.. I didn't like it. I much prefer to do things the natural way and use males and females for my breeding, it's much more fun that way. Males are fantastic plants to watch grow as well, I really enjoy having them around. But yeah, I mainly don't use feminised pollen because it just didn't feel right. Different strokes I guess ;)
