I grow in soil in 5 gallon fabric. I have some Roots Organics "Bloom" dry fertilizer leftover from a previous grow.
I'm looking for a commercial soil that has enough nitrogen but not too hot to get through the veg stage on its own without burning.
I want to mix in my dry Bloom nutes for the bottom third of the container.
I'm looking for the right combo of soil type and how much Bloom to mix in the lower portion.

well I can think of several mixes with minimal feeding.Larger stains or Photo to auto strains need more feeds but. lemme see. everyone knows KIS.but they like so many others fail at the transition phase or early flower. Through the yrs Ive found a few mixes that work really well. Coat of Maine stonington blend,or Indicanja a plant based soil, and the natures living soil. so you can make the KIS pack up with 25-30 gallons and mix a 5lb pack of NLS soil into it. or just measure n weight the NLS soil per pot.then fill with KIS n mix completely. no lower half crap or anything. mix soils throughout. far better results all day every day. or ca mix a bag of the coast of maines stonington and indicanja together WITH 3 to 5lbs of NLS. or 2 n 2 and nls. I find the NLS stuff makes for an excellent booster..use the photo stuff.not the auto.been doing this a long while now and turned many ppl on to it through others since I really dont teach anymore. but Id try those mixes. And I have found the dry ferts arent as good as say a wettable fully soluble food source.or liquid like a potent well rounded aact.Been using alive organics and its a great mix. food for thought. later man
