I have been reading pages of posts and wanted to make sure that my understanding of what I have read is clear or am I totally confused?

1. If I take an auto male and cross with an auto fem,(sprouted from reg auto seeds) I will get auto seeds that are regular.

2. If I cross an auto male(reverted from fem plant with CS) with an auto fem, (both sprouted from fem auto seeds) I will get auto seeds that
are fem.

3. In both 1 and 2 above, I am assuming same strain and therefore should have same strain seeds.

4. If in examples 1 and 2 I used different strains for donor and mother, then I have a new strain generation f1.

5. When breeding for seeds, a minimum of 45 to 50 days is required for seed maturation before harvest of mother.

6. When using CS to revert plants, plant becomes pollen donor only and can be discarded once successful pollination is verified.

So, have a got a grasp on the basics here? I don't think I could ever stop buying seeds cuz there are just too many strains that I really need to try. But this would be fun and helpful when you identify a true favorite.

Yup.

Eh... It depends on how many generations your parents were stabilized. If they were stabilized to f7 or higher (7+ generations of inbreeding), then yes. If not, you will see anywhere from a little, to a lot of variation in the offspring.

4. If in examples 1 and 2 I used different strains for donor and mother, then I have a new strain generation f1.
You have a new cross. It's hardly a new strain until you stabilize it through inbreeding to or above f7 (as mentioned above). At least not one that breeds true to type.

5. When breeding for seeds, a minimum of 45 to 50 days is required for seed maturation before harvest of mother.
Yup. Give yourself at LEAST that when you are planning. Some can mature faster.slower than others.

6. When using CS to revert plants, plant becomes pollen donor only and can be discarded once successful pollination is verified.
You can use other branches on the plant for breeding purposes. But don't smoke any of the plant do to any minute concentrations of cs particles that made their way around the plant.

Requesting one quick clarification: in question 1, what do you mean by "regular"? That there is a mix of male and female seeds? Something else?
Thx

Yes he means you are right you will get male and female plants that are auto.
