New Grower Tent size vs. plant count

Depends on the strains, your skills, etc. Height is your biggest issue. 4 will give you a packed tent for sure!

I have done 9 3gallon growbags in a 2'8" x2'8" x 60" tent for a SOG, but 2 would have given big plants.

Ypu will be more than fine with any strain. That's only my opinion. I grow in a 3x3x5 and I run 4 plants at a time with advanced nutes. THEY GET BIG. Here's what you have to plan for.

LST on a any strain that tries to dominate the others in size. And height differences. I use 5 gallon buckets cut to different heights. That way you don't have one go vertical on you and have to push your light up too high causing the others to suffer.

So in closing. Yes run 4. Train them for an even canopy and have a plan to lift the shorties up to the tall ones level

Damn you are running 4 in a 3x3! I just started 2 in dwc in my 3x3 and I was scared I'd end up running out of room. You gave me a little hope! ;D

Good stuff thanks!! I'll post up my progress soon.

I found 3 gal to be plenty in a 4x4. With zero training I pulled 3-4 oz per plant. My last plant pulled 6 oz in a 3 gal after super cropping. I'd consider 8 in 3 gal, but if you're sticking with 5 gal I'd say 4-5.
