Live Stoner Chat temperature question

hi guys i have just been up in the attic to floor a space for my tent and stuff, wow that is a lot hotter than i expected it to be, what sort of temp should i be looking for inside my tent and the room it is in, any help would be great thanks


i should add that i have just ordered a room temp guage should have it tomorrow

85 as your highest in the tent... preferably 78 degrees is optmial during light hours.... maybe 60-65 during lights off.

dep what your lights are... the space surrounding your tent should be at least 10-15 degrees lower with your exhaust ducted throughaa filter exhausted outside for odor control....

Hey Larkderry,

I try to keep my temps between 80 and 85 and not dropping any more than 10deg when the lights are off, as your using LED's you probably wont have the heat probs I've had with my fist grow. Where is you air intake coming from?

JM beat me there, he's the opposite end of the knowledge scale to me so his advise is rock solid!!

i will be running a led so i dont expect much heat from that, i will be running a cf and exhaust as well, i should have a temp guage soon so i will at least know what temp it is up there soon enough, when you say 85 as the highest is that in F or C, thanks for the help guys

thats in F mate absolute max is 90f but only for a very limeted time you dont wana let it get there tho keep below 90f Si

a BIG OL YES to all the above but there are exceptions to the rule.. my desert greenhouse gets daytime temp from 105f to 119f as of yesterday, only 114F today and it goes on for 3 month or so. here a pic of a HBDxllDiavolo tall pheno f2 73 days in but she'll need another 30 day at least. this is a burtal way to grow but its all i can do. keep your temps down and good luck M8.

im the other side of the world guys so i dont need to worry about as high temps as that, in summer time we are lucky to get temps as high as 73 - 75 f or 23 - 24c for a week!! my temp guage is on the way so i will let you all know what temps i get in my grow room

yep thats pretty much spot on!!!!


just checked my temp guage and its at 21c/70f and the humidity is 57% without any lights or extraction. does this sound ok?
