I have my 2x2.5x5 grow tent in a spare BR, which is air conditioned. I have an intake fan which draws in room temp air, and an exhaust fan. I also have a small clip fan in the tent; both the intake fan and exhaust fan blow on the HLG 100 LED board, and I also have plastic humidity domes over the seedlings themselves (about 8 days old following germination). Finally, I have temp/humidity sensors (bluetooth) inside the domes with the seedlings.

My challenges are that I can get the humidity pretty high by spraying the inside of the domes (up to 90%) but the temps seem to consistently run in the high 80's to low 90's.

I have an additional temp/hygrometer in the tent itself (not under a dome) and I'm getting 83*F and 43% humidity.

I have a cool chill humidifier arriving today, and plan to remove the domes to try and cool the entire tent a bit AND provide the needed humidity.

Have I done damage to the seedlings? Open to other thoughts as this is my first grow...

So running led u have to have higher temps especially for seedlings 85 is perfect and if it's in the final pot it will be a monster if you do everything else I personally grew this plant in pic in 84 degrees and 40% humidity till day 30 and then it became summer with no ac in a 2nd story the MP obviously went up a bit to 88 90 highs and 75% humidity now I'm not saying you shouldn't up ur humidity ect I'm saying try to get the temperature under 90 and don't worry to much about the humidity as temp. Also make sure ur intake fan is at the floor level and ur exhaust as close to the top as possible reasons to do so is to get proper air movement otherwise you could have stale air that doesn't get exchanged and ur mostly exchanging wat uve just pumped in. The exhaust fan if it's not as close to the top as possible won't suck out the hottest air which isn't as effective as if it is. As for the seedling it looks ok a bit ligh green but that could be many different things wat medium ph ect is it on wats ur ph ppm of water ur giving ect. Tag me in the journal of u got 1.

i think your fine. and i wouldnt worry about the high temp and the humidity dome at this point.

A top fill, ultrasonic humidifier placed outside the tent, blowing into the tent can lower temperature inside the tent a few degrees F.
The fog droplets absorb heat as they evaporate, and putting the humidifier outside the tent keeps the heat produced by the humidifier itself utside the tent.
That high temperature will couple nicely with high humidity that the Vapor Pressure Deficit chart calls for.

and you got the added bonus of not clogging up grow space in the tent with the humidifier. i like this idea!

You do not need to leave a cup over the seed past it popping up. In fact you risk damping off by doing so. The relative humidity only needs to be between 40% and 60% in the tent for the seedlings to be happy.
