i just checked my temp in my grow tent and its at 28c and i cant get it temp down is this too much?

Depends if you grow soil or hydro, if roots get too hot it can get bad.
I had some days 28-29 and plants in small pots suffered the heat more compared to plants in bigger pots.
Also had some seedlings on 33 once and they had leaf damage, so I guess up to 30 is not necessarily bad if you cool the roots enough.
Some say photosynthesys stops at certain air temps but if you ask my outdoor plants they laugh at such claims:biggrin:

Generally around 22-26 is a good(best) temperature for cannabis.

what kind of light are you using ? 28c is getting to the upper limit. over 30 will stress them some. and air circulation is a must. as far as watering seedlings, I try and keep the area around the stem lightly moist but not drenched. maybe a 1/4 liter a day or 2. if your temps are in the upper range a lot, consider a silica supplement added to the nutes when they get big enough.

i dont know what kind of lights it is all i know its a 250watt heres a picture why do you think my temp is so high? i now have my fan there too? the only problem is the tents in a cupboard of a friends stealth is a big must here maybe thats one of the reasons :(

Do not worry about that. I prefer warmer grows, the plants go faster. Add silica as an additive to increase their heat tolerance. Weed is a summer annual, it can handle some heat.
