Ok so my auto white russian is 5 weeks old and thickening every day. I have bent the side stems to get as much light as possible to bud sites. However I have some mini buds/pops down lowest just above the soil that probably isn´t gonna give any significant yield. So im wondering if it is OK to cut these pops off and smoke ´em because there is no smoke in town and also, I do need some good sleep.

Is this a big no no, will this stress and stunt the plant considerably?

Edit: And if I do it, how is the best way to do it causing least stress as possible?

It will be fine to take off the lower buds, some people take them off regardless as it will inhance growth in the rest of the plant. Best thing to use would be a sterilised blade. Quick clean cut

Ok how far down do you go? How to decide which ones to cut? :P

As low as you wont to as it will not affect the other buds regardless of if you remove them or not it wont make much differance... I only get rid of the crappy tiny ones that will dry to be nothing lol :peace: Si

When I say inhance growth, the lower branches don't get much light with some people's grow set ups. So if you want then you can remove them so all the light concentrates on is the upper deck ;)
