Old Reviews T5 Blue Red Fluorescent Plant Grow Light

I started using 45w LED Rd/Blu/Wh bulbs panel 12"x12" ...have 4 autos under it. Plants seem to like it. Sure no electric bill shock like MH/HPS set ups!! Have 2 45w bulbs and 2 60w daylight (blu tint) for 5 trad plants, all fems. Like the growth pattern of each, but love the successive planting and quick rotation of AF's. Have reflective mylar surrounding all avail walls.

Look on the web for comparable lights. Or visit indoor store for research. Also use T5 warm/cool 2 ft. unit. Can jam 8 plants in azalea containers, good soil in a nice grow cabinet.....seems to work out well. My prior lighting system sitting idle. No heat, little electricity. Good solution.

Let us know.

I use all 240 watt blackstar LEDS i have six of them total... i was just wondering about that light specifically as opposed to the standard T5 setups

Salutations,

The page you have linked two mentions a "mirror-like reflector", i doubt that's really appropriate but that's not what displeases me most about it.

That page is way too long for such a simple product, something tells me the real intent is to get potential confused but that's not the main issue i noticed neither, no...

What really disapointed me was the fact that i saw no sign, at first glance, that 1 single fluorescent tube actually used a blue-red phosphor pigmentation formula: in fact it seems to me like this product is meant for seperate blue and red tubes since one of them is supposed to be "pure blue".

Shortly put, i found the title of this thread to be somewhat misleading:

« T5 Blue Red Fluorescent Plant Grow Light »

In this case the word "light" designates the whole fixture contraption.

:peace:
