New Grower switch to metal halide??????

My hbd ladies are coming close to the end. And of the 2 grow bibles I have read Jorge's and ed rosenthals they both talk about the correlation between uvb light and thc production. So my question is will it benefit and give me more potent bud or will it affect my bud growth cause they are still packing it on.

Thats really not the right spectrom for flowering all though it probably will work.If these two guys say it works give it a try.

Maybe in conjunction with HPS (Orange/read) but by itself at the end of flower you're more likely to freak your plants out.

I've done this a couple times, for the same reason cjfd cited. I really don't think it helped THC production any, but it certainly didn't cause any ill effects either. I'm debating whether to do it on my current photo grow, and it's 50/50. But I'd definitely do it on my next auto grow because it allows me to get the next seedlings into the tent under MH while the old crop finishes, without worrying about HPS stretch. Just something else to consider.
