Hi , 1st ever post so forgive the greenish tint ....
i,ve just purchased the sweet seeds sweet mix auto feminised 10 pack of seeds ,
i have two questions 1st being ..can you tell me whiich varieties of seeds will i get ?
2nd is ... after buying the feminised pack i kicked myself as i have since thought i should have got the non fem set to fertilise 1or 2 females to have my own seeds so i am going to buy 3 more seeds from the pick and mix section ....what would you recomend for me to buy to fertilise my ladies with ? i think i want to make my own personal strain , im growing outdoors so i would like to keep the resulting strain resilient to outdoors while keeping strength ect ?
ive grown indoors several times but this is my first outdoor auto venture so any info would be greatly appreciated ,im based in uk so our summers are not great ,
the fem seeds should arrive tomorow so id like to order the non fems asap

Yes, the Sweet Mix Auto packaging is a special priced product in which the price is reduced precisely because you get a mix of unlabelled seeds. Hope you have fun when they start flowering and you try to identify some of them. You can post pics and comments around here and we can try to help on that.

And yes, Sweet Seeds feminized seeds result in 99,7% female plants. You can find a male plant in (approx.) 1 of every 300 plants. You have 10 seeds, you hace a 1/30 chances of getting a male. So, don't count on that.

You could try using STS to reverse the sex of one of them and get male pollen, but I would never recommend that to a new grower and even the more experienced find it a bit difficult and need to read a lot.

Best you can do is what you suggested, getting some regular seeds from other seedbank, select a good male and use his pollen. If you want to get 100% Autoflowering seeds, try and get regular autoflowering seeds. I think it's not easy to find but you'll eventually find a seedbank that sells autos in regular "version". As you won't find many, you'll have a very reduced choice so I can't recommend any specific strain. If you manage to get something with a lot of White Widow or Skunk genes than I would go for it.

I think you'll unfortunatelly end up getting pollen from an autoflowering plant from 1st or 2nd generation, which is not ideal, but if you do it well you can get good results.

Hi Tommy and thanks for the rapid reply , i purchased my seeds from " herbies seeds uk " and they do sell non fem seeds in singles so i will be taking your advise and going to there site after finishing this post to look for a few " white or skunk " auto,s .
thanks for the advise i certainly will post some pics of my grow here and maybe you could help me identify some of the ladies strains so i can then put a name to the crossed seeds .
im really looking forward to getting this 1st time fem auto outdoor grow up and going ,

I use Herbies, awesome service! I got some free seeds from the order, if you did too you've already got a couple of Hawaiian skunk regular you could try for a male?

Hi Bilbo , i agree herbies are great its the first time i have used them but would deffo recomend them , i thought the free seed they gave me was a fem auto but i cant remember the strain but i will call them to confirm as the hawaian skunk sounds like a nice strain to me .
have you started growing your seeds yet mate ? what strain did you buy ?

I'm growing the Cash Crop atm, I got 3 off Herbie last month once I decided to stay with autos.
I'm stuck with the 4 x Iced Grapefruit fem non autos I bought and I got 2 Strawberry Blue fem and 4 Hawaiian Skunk Regular for free.
That'll teach me to pay attention and order autos lol.

haha well sounds like you could have yourself some nice hyrbid seeds there if you pollinate a fem saves buying more seeds for your next grow , how come you got so many free seeds did you pay over £100 as i see you get a lot of good free seeds if you do ?that was my line of thought for buying the regular seeds i ordered today from herbies 3x white label super skunk on Tommy,s advise but knowing my luck they will all probably turn out fems lol !!! so have you started a grow journal Bilbo ? i think i will start one as soon as my seeds germinate , ive been out today and bought perlite , vermiculite , compost and a compost i thought i could germinate in a miracle grow potting compost but on further inspection at home it says there are nutrients added to speed up root growth so im not sure if this will be ok for seeds or not any thoughts on this or do you think i should go and buy something different ?

I got all those seeds free from just 2 £20 orders! Must just be lucky lol.

I'm afraid I haven't got the faintest clue about growing in soil and suggesting DWC or NFT might be a bit too different at this stage
