Hi all,
This is my first grow and I am attempting to get the hang of this. 2 seeds out of three I think are not doing well or they could of died already. The first seed looks beautiful!

From your pictures it looks like the seedlings haven't shed the seed shells. There still may be hope for them. Mist them with water to keep them moist. You may also take a pair of tweezers and gently, very gently, try to remove the shell. Don't force them.

How deep did you plant your seeds?

:howdy:bro give them time like muddy say it has not shed its seed shells yet,sweet sweeds are good beans bro im grow some right now was going to do the SAD,As its you fist grow, i like to say abig welcome fist,and i be booking me self a chair and yes as allways me box of so im in for the ride, looking forward to see them girls grow,till later bro,

How deep did you plant your seeds?

To be quite honest with you, I do not know the exact measurement. I know it's about a #2 pencil eraser size.

First Day of Week #2

There are only two plants left since the third plant died. Growth is reallyyyy slow, but they seem to look healthy and it's only the beginning of the second week. First plant has a bit of yellowing; I'm not exactly sure whats that's from. I gave the plants 1/2 gallon of well water each today.

Temp: 75F
Light: 250watt MH
Light Cycle: 18/6

:howdy:bro have you look at you soil,as it could be out on the PH,having some trouble with mine stop growing soil reading 5.9,im trying to get the ph back up,i forgot to add lime to me soil,so ph gone out,this were i be looking fist at my ph, Kudo

i thought about the ph level, but atm i do not have a meter plus how am i supposed to check the ph level of soilless with a digital meter? runoff? i thought runoff is not that accurate?

bro get a soil ph reader,not much here about a £10,well woth the money you no were your at in soil,mine to Acid seem like yours could be too,you need to no were you soil at bro,if it is to Acid i would use some Hydrated lime to help her out ,Q fix, then add a litte bit of lime to the top soil mix in and water her,the Hydrated help sort the ph out for a litte time,im still working on mine,and you pick up the hydrated lime form most builder yard bro one tsp to 1gal of water,

KUDO you are of great help my friend! I just dug out my two soil test meters from the shed dusted them off and to my surprise they are still working. I've never used them before because someone said they are not that accurate so I stored them away for a rainy day. The needle on both the meters are a little passed the 7(towards 8).

hi bro you need to drop abit to about 6.8, see what the soil read then,iv got mine now just under the 7 make so im happy for the mo next feed i try it about ph7,and then we see how the ph is after,
