Hey there! It's about time I write a FB report. I'm currently sampling my second plant of this strain. I found that both plants I've grown were very similar in shape, production and taste of the final product. I grow in a very limited space (a bucket :D) with small soil pots and a 90w UFO. So please take this into account when I speak about yields and such

SeedBank :
Sweet Seeds

Strain:
Fast Bud#1

Did it autoflower?:
Yes, around 2-3 weeks

Soil/hydro:
Soil mix (potting soil, perlite, earthworm castings)

Nutes:
Applied in flowering only: Plagron Terra Bloom (npk 2.2.4) and PK13-14

Light (kind and schedule):
90W ufo(red+blue+orange), on 20 hours, off 4 hours

From seed to harvest date:
Around 70 days.

Dry Yield: about 15 grams (using 3 liter pots and a very limited space)

High/Effect Duration (how long did effects last): normally around 1 to 2 hours.

In-depth

RATE SCALE: * bad to ***** good

BAG APPEAL: ***
These buds look great when harvested, and they still look good when dried but they lose a bit of color. Nice amount of orange hairs. Lots of resin, although not very thick.

THE GROWTH: *****
In my short experience at growing I've found this strain to be really quick, productive and short. I apply LST so I get several colas instead of only a big main cola. Both Fast Buds I harvested had a bigger main cola bud but also several side colas which were really big and thick. This strain is really easy to grow, even a novice like me gets good results with it! I love this about this strain, and I'm already growing a 3rd right now :D

THE SMELL: ***
I would qualify this smell as sweet, as all the other strains I've tried from this bank. There are hints of mint and spices as well. I think this strain is not particularly smelly - the Sweet Skunk or the Sweet Cheese both from the same bank are more strongly smelling than the Fast Bud. When you grind the herb the smell appears quickly though :hump:

THE SMOKE: *****
I love this weed! The taste is sweet and spicy, but not overwhelming at all.

THE HiGH: ****
I can't give 5 stars because I find the high a little bit on the soft side. Not that this is bad - I love this kind of high because it lets you function normally - but I would prefer a little bit more of potency. I guess this is normal considering this strain is not very recent.

In conclusion, I recommend this strain to anyone wanting an easy and quick grow with tasty results. Don't expect instant couchlocks though! My tolerance is not that high, and even me don't get couchlocked from this weed ;) It's a greeat weed to have around in parties, watching movies or going for a walk.

Thanks for reading! Regards!

Forgot to add some pics. These are from my 1st Fast Bud. The second plant was harvested a couple of weeks ago and I did not take any pics of it. I'm currently sampling some of it though :smokebuds:

I grew out the fast bud before, and maybe I got a different pheno, but I loved the buzz. Like you I didn't notice any couch lock, but that is what I prefer.

Also, lack of couch lock doesn't mean lack of potency. It just means that it has low CBD. My super lemon haze is the most potent I have ever come across, but there is no couch lock to be had.

And, CBD has a longer half-life than THC which is why pure THC strains last about an hour and a half - 2 hours tops. A stoney kush will keep you high the same amount of time, but you are STONED and sleepy all the way out to 3.5-4 hours when the CBD is out of your system.

But one thing I noticed with mine was that it had one of the highest odors of any plants I have grown. It was almost sickly sweet and fruity. Reminded me exactly of the flintstone vitamins I had to eat as a kid. All of the first generation offspring carried a strong lemon scent, much stronger than the super lemon haze which is low odor but still smells of lemon when ground up.

Hey mattinuk! Thanks for that info! Good to know about CBD and its effects. I think the effects of the FB are not the strongest of all I've experienced, but they are really enjoyable and also good for pain relieving. The fact that it does not couchlock is a plus if you want a daytime smoke, and for this the FB shines. I would love try the FB#2 sometime in the future!

And you are right, the cured buds are not that smelly if they are not manipulated or grinded -when done so the smell quickly arises :D. But the flowering plant has a stronger smell, very citric and pleasant. Probably it's the strongest smelling auto (when growing) I've had.

Best regards!
