My wife and I have an agreement, I can only have 1 grow tent, but in turn, I get to go all out on it.

It is a 5x5x6'11" Gorilla Grow Tent. My light is a 715w (actual draw) COB LED. I've been kicking around different ideas and happened across this...

Mind you, it's a good deal, and that's what got my attention. So if I am being ridiculous, feel free to say so.

For a supplemental light I was thinking of getting a Gavita Pro 270 E-Series Plasma. They have 2 models, one that is full spectrum, and the other that is meant to be a supplement to a HPS light.

And for comparison sake, here is my current light: https://www.johnsongrowlights.com/products/cx-16

If this crazy idea were to work, I would imagine I would need a light mover. But I figure I can worry about that later if this idea actually pans out.

Feedback is appreciated! Feel free to call me names too if this idea is too dumb for even words. Thank you!

My preference would be to add a second led light to achieve a better light spread over all, rather than supplemental ancillary lighting. 5x5 is pretty wide for just one led light, no matter the bull that might be presented in any manufacturers written materials. At the moment I am in a 2x4 and I have two Pro Grow X5-300 for that size tent. I'm moving to a 4x4 after my current run using the same lights for now.
