A majority of growers are weary of topping auto's due to the fact that the stress slows their already short growth period. But I have seen some examples of topping autos like dyksters topped jem, which looked amazing and handled it quite well. As far as super cropping goes, I haven't seen anyone try it personally. If you have a hardy grown strain such as something in the JEM line you could give it a shot. I will probably experiment with topping auto's once next outdoor season rolls around here.
imo, it does stress them and you wont get the yield you would have...topping in general that is...i topped a number one super auto for height reasons...still got over 6.5oz's, cant imagine what it would a been...
