Greetings all


I'm on a sebattical from my usual weed forum and hadn't planned on joining another one in the meanwhile, but here I am somehow, typing an intro thread so I guess I'm without control. Aside from that I miss talking shite 30 times a day

Actually I'm so baked that I can't even remember how I came upon this forum after only 20 minutes of finding it. Might have been because of something auto related.


I started off growing - with autos - about 2yrs ago (Big Buddha Automatics) and ever since I've been trying to improve on my first grow. I'm only JUST about to do so in the next 4 weeks if all stays the same as it is now. (long story)

Right now I've got 2 tents on the go, one with some regular fems in it which are all in their last 2 weeks, and one with a few autos that have all been experiments with different grow methods. I've learned much about autos in the last coupla years so I hope to be able to share that and learn a few new tricks along the way. "Throw and grow" my arse!!

A few days ago I planted a buddha auto in a 37ltr airpot so I'm looking forward to seeing how big I can get her in that. Usualy I do em in 15ltr airpots or round pots.
I also planted a biodiesel mass and a skunk mass in 1ltr airpots to see how big they grow in small pots. Those aside there's another buddha and an SAS that are in 18ltr square pots which are about a month old now. So.. lots going on in the auto tent at the mo.


Anyway I'm already writing out a biography so I'll cut-off here and go mosey around the threads.

Greetings, TBM. One thing you'll never hear from me is "I didn't know it was against the rules". I'm one of the rare souls who actually does read them before ticking to agree to the T&C's

I think the overall message of just don't be an arse on the forum comes through pretty clearly.

There's a ton of info on site already so before asking a question, check to see if the info is already out there. I prefer using a Google site-specific search as opposed to using the vBulletin search.
Sounds like you got a couple of grows under your belt & those grows have provided you with a wealth of experience - hope you share your personal findings with the rest of us.

Indeed.. I've already learned some thngs about my favourite smoke so the love is spreadin already and I'm always glad to pitch-in in the infirmary and the like..

Since I'm going to be focusing on autos for the forseeable future I'm sure it'll be a match made in heaven. Until, at least, you're all sitting down over a pint one day and saying.. "here.. that BigBuddha on the forum... what a twat" ha ha

How much experience do you have with airpots?
I have some Thunder Dragons that have just shown their heads and will be transplanted into 12.5ltr airpots when the time comes. I've never used them before but have read plenty about how they can increase yield so if you can throw any words of wisdom my way I'd sure appreciate it. BTW, the grow is taking place outdoors in the uk...i am the eternal optimist!!

I've been having a gossip about airpots and autos in this thread and I LOVE them for photoperiod plants, I'm just trying to get the right balance of nutrients with autos (I think).

I have a theory (you'll enjoy reading all about that I'm sure ) that airpots and autos can be a truly awesome combo if you can get the nutrients into them quckly enough, and I've literally only started testing this theory last week by germing a coupla autos in 1ltr airpots (sorry if I'm repeating myself) which are going to get mineral nutes throughout.

In short.. I think the problem (for me anyways) has been using batmix + organic nutes + airpots + autos. So, my plan is to use lightmix soil + mineral nutes start>finish, thus getting the nutes into them fast enough to support the faster root growth.

That's the plan anyway

For plants in general they're like the best thing since sliced bread in my opinion. For autos I suspect they have massive potential if fed properly and/or given a better medium than the one I've been using so far.
