im unclear as to how stunting affects autos and photos, is there any difference?

with photos does it just extend the veg period or will it decrease overall yield regardless of adding more time etc.
im guessing it is detrimental to autos anyway as they seem to have a limited lifecycle.

i have some seedlings that i think are stunted some photos some autos so just curious how this will affect things in the end. they have started growing properly now it seems and itmight just be paranoia but i think i had a ph lockout which im waiting till watering later or tomorrow to fix.
ill prettymuch definately keep them either way just would like to know.

cheers for any info.

With photos you can elongate the vege period to recover from any stunting, so given that recovery time it doesn't decrease your final yield. With autos they're on their own schedule for flowering and any growth or time lost is not recovered. That's why I always consider seedling and vege the most important stage in autos. I just stunted a couple of jems and plan on keeping them anyway. I'll probably set them in the garden in one gallon pots and use them for seed or whatnot. I've noticed on average photos seem to be less sensitive to nutes early on as well.

ok thats fine for me anyway i wanted to grow some photos this time around and just put in two easyryders incase i have some spare room in there. ill be happy with anything i get off of them as they will probably be on 12/12 anyway once i flip the photos.
if not ill take them out each night and put under some t5s but illl see how bothered i am.

good stuff, thats a load off my mind.
