I was doing some reading and came across this lil statement and had to ask.... Is it true? I was thinking about doing a 2-liter organic tiny plant just for knowledge if i can. But will it finish faster too?

Fire one off for me [emoji108] HG

I've been looking into this as well read a blog on Royal Queen Seeds site saying it will be faster but only by a few days.

So if a bigger pot delays flowering by a few days a smaller pot would decrease flowering by a few days the theory is solid I would say.

trick question ? definition/terminology like the flush, clense, leeching debate ? what is stunting or stunted ?
to me stunting is like 'hey look mom,no hands' :nono: stunted is when a plant has been stressed and ends up considerably smaller than it should have been.or not reached its full potential.accidential cock up,or on purpose by restricting root growth.
big pot=big plant, small pot=small plant  not many strains ive grown twice to get a proper reference point.i may be going against the grain on this one,but i dont see much difference in finish times.
perhaps it needs a proper side by side test ? smaller pots finish faster, how small, how much faster ?
ask an eejit a question, get no answers and 5 questions back :face:
good luck n keep er lit.
:pighug:

I wanna pick your brain more about this. But to clarify, i was specifically referencing the root restriction.
If you have run 2l with soil, ABOUT how often is water needed? Daily? 2x a day? Or is a drip system or bottom wicking needed?

Tho itll be experimental to see if i can run it with 100% organic dry amendments. Do i feed weekly or lighter 2x a week? And as a bit of a philosopher, my favorite questions can ONLY be answered by questions.
When I did the Solo Cup and 2 Liter grow think mine finished about a week earlier then my normal 3.9gal autopots.
Thanks bushy!! Appreciated greatly!!

I had a tray with a wick on my 2 litre and I was watering once a day.

watering depends on local climate/tent conditions and make up of soil/medium.i usually run 6L pots and like to water every day, very light soil 4:2:1 biobizz light /perlight,vermiculite mix is perfect for that.but 1L pots far to light a mix needs fixed.watering can be a nightmare,i wont be growing in 1L in the summer thats for sure:wall:
i feed everytime unless i burnt them, then they get water only :smoking:
