STS one or two branches?

You might as well go for the whole plant, as the sticky on reversal suggests. That stuff is circulated within the plant, even if only one branch shows balls. I'm no scientist, but that's always been my belief and after reading that sticky, it only confirms my fear of toxicity.

its a slightly more "toxic" version of CS.

if youre using STS do the entire plant.
