great way to start your monday morning

been asked by the guys at dp to test run these new lights.

each unit draws 400 watts at full power and are supposed to replace a 600 watt hps they also have a seperate controller which enables you to change the spectrum of the panels depending on stage of growth.

anyway heres a couple of pics will update more later.....

appreciate the support and comments also nice to see some faces still about

ill probably get back onto autos later down the line but at the minute im focused on regs/clones

currently running

tangie ghost train haze
blues/livers /sk#1
strawberry sour diesel
sour strawberries

i held back on 1 of the sour strawberry phenos to test run under these new lights as some of those plants above are just coming upto harvest (thank fook)

cant really say much about the lights as i havent really had much time to play around and get my room dialled in but they seem pretty straight forward

the controller is an added bonus cause you can set sunrise/sunset and overall spectrum depending on stage of growth and without it the lights will just run at full power.

ill grab some more pics later on in the week but personally i wanna see a full bloom grow with these lights.

any questions ill do my best to answer

Just for everyones info, the SolarSystem 550 has a power draw of 400W and is a replacement for a 600W HPS. Its being sold by Crazy LEDs (sister company of Dutch Passion) for €849 along with an e-voucher worth €75 for Dutch Passion seeds. We think its a good price for a 400W power draw unit, especially for a USA built unit with adjustable spectrum and adjustable power level. We have met Cali Lightworks face-to-face in the USA and EU before selling the grow lights. And we have been been impressed with their experience, designs and proven technology. They have a real focus on quality, the new Osram LEDs are super bright with some of them boasting efficiencies (electricity to light conversion) of over 50%. So, lets see what they can do :) If you want to read more about the SS550's they are here http://www.crazy-leds.com/en/shop/product/solar-system-550-led-grow-light/
