As some of you may know, my wife is currently being treated for Multiple Myeloma, (cancer of the bone marrow). I need some suggestions for verified high CBD autoflowering strains. There have been studies that show CBD when taken in concert with the specific maintenance chemotherapy drugs she will be on for the next few years, that complete remission is possible. I know that CBD Crew's Med Gom Auto has a 1:1 ratio of the/cbd. I also know that Dutch Passion has several photosensitive strains in their medical line that are 1:1 or better. But I have not been having any luck with finding other autoflower strains that even list the CBD content.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah the MED GOM is the only option right now with that being advertized although I'm sure there are more in the works, just not perfected.

I personally picked up some CBD-rich clones that delivers nearby, and will have to try those out when it's time to flower

Please read the below information.

I have taken this from another website. Please refer here for the original post link [url]http://www.420magazine.com/forums/me...ml#post2294314

"Caveat:
I am not a medical doctor, nor do I play one on TV. I am writing from my experience and research. However, according to multiple studies in the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health, CBDs have proven medical applications in treating chronic pain, epilepsy, neuropsychiatric, and psychiatric disorders. (i.e.: Cannabidiol: pharmacology and potential therapeutic role in epileps... - PubMed - NCBI)

Parents: For treating seizure disorders in children, very low THC strains with a high CBD profile is recommended. Newly released Thunderstruck by Sin City is commercially available in seed form and rivals Charlotte's Web.

Cancer: While this is not a cancer treatment list, for cancer applications, try high THC strains of at least 15% THC with at least 5% CBD to make the most of cannabis' synergistic curative properties, tumor reduction, appetite increase, pain relief, stress and anxiety relief. (EG: Blue Blood) High THC buds cut with high CBD buds is another option.

I built this list of high CBD strains while writing my CBD Medical Cannabis Brew thread. I wasn't expecting the list to get so huge. Hence, I decided to give the list its own thread so others could contribute and help with corrections. I've only included high CBD strains which have at least 5% CBD and excluded 1-5% CBD strains and strains that I could not find percentages on because the definition of high CBD fluctuates and could mean anything. This is a seed only list as some popular CBD strains like Charlotte's Web may not be commercially available in seed form.

The list is divided the way it is to help growers decide which strains work best for their growing conditions. Bushy photo period strains tend to be more indica dominant. Mixed traits photo period strains can have phenotypes that pull either indica or sativa growth patterns or have wild CBD fluctuations and should be tested professionally for phenotype quality. Tall photo period strains tend to pull more sativa growth patterns. Autoflowering strains tend to have ruderalis growth patterns.

Puff, great job, on the list. I hadn't got back to this thread yet but did do a little more digging because i really wanted to place an order. So I figured out Dinafem Shark Shock CBD fem photos and ordered a 3 pack to get started with. So just waiting on the order to come in and then I will figure out when to start the first one. But I will also keep my eyes open for other CBD rich strains. Dutch Passion has a medical line of 3 strains right now with 1:1 cbd/thc ratios. So those are on my radar for an order soon. But again, I thank you and anyone else who drops in and has some suggestions.

Howdy tag.

I understand what you are going through. Like I read on a site--three rules: Don't panic, don't give up and the last rule remember the first two. Did notice many new therapies for MM. Check out the Lymphoma Society--http://www.lls.org/

Recall just a few weeks ago a seminar on net. Can get all audio and written material on the site.

Now--as for CBD.

I did try a photo CBD strain a few months ago. Thought would try the CBD effect. Just didn't grow as well as anticipated.

Market is getting flooded with new CBD strains.

My opinion is go with a proven high CBD auto like the commenters suggest.

The very best way to insure CBD is to get a clone from a proven mother plant.

Cheers

GC, thanks for the reply. Yeah my wife checks that site, she is the one that does most of the research, she was pre med before finishing her Masters in her chosen field. Worker Health and Safety. Which is pretty ironic, she has spent her career championing the little guy so to speak, fighting to keep chemical plant and refinery personnel safe from chemical exposures and physical harm. And she ends up with a cancer which was very probably triggered by one of those very chemicals. She knows the odds but not fighting this is just not in her nature. So we will utilize what modern pharmaceuticals we see as being helpful to keep her in the game until we figure what the combinations that we can score with.

As one of my favorite sayings go.
There is no normal life, only life. Live every day with out regret, never lend any money that you can't live without, and if you can't be good in bed, be funny.

We are content with where we are today, and we look after tomorrow, tomorrow.

Cheers--tag.

Get inspiration.

Absolute nice List Puffman420.... all i miss is the Harley Sin.

Here's a strain I'm really excited about, from a grower in Colorado. I've got the beans & now waiting for it to warm up enough to plant.

DB Cooper has gone the 100 yards & has tested this plant at every stage of veg & flower... Approved at <3% THC.
Worth a look:

https://www.seedshare.co/index.php?/topic/4895-cherry-afghan-cbd-rich-hybrid/

It should be noted that it should be repro'd via cloning, as when breeding for seed, you're breeding away from the CBD & cherry flavors because they are recessive genes.
