Hello. I'm having a bit of a battle atm with my plants. since day 7 I've been getting rusty spots and its now happening on new leafs and its day 21.. I was feeding them calmag, advanced nutrients sensi grow A&B, carboload and voodoo juice. I noticed a N tox due to the calmag having a lot of N in it so I've flushed them and going to stop using calmag until later on in flower. Can anyone tell me what the problem is please? PH is 6.0 after nutrients have been added and run off is around the same could be a little lower but I only have test strips.

Try doubling the cal mag if your sure it's not splash? Are you under or very close to LED's

Are you sure about your Ph? I only ask due to the multiple problems I had due to Ph including the problem you are having. Do you use a soil probe like the A8 meter? Also 6 is on the low end of ph maybe you should start aiming for 6.5 that way it can swing down when wet and up when dry. What type of water are you using? Another thing you might consider getting a 0-0-0 calmag like the General organics brand that way you can use it with out affecting you N

Well Ive only been using the test strips and on the bottle and it shows between 6.0 -6.5 after adding nutrients. I'm using tap water which is 7.0 my nutrients is advanced nutrients and says ph perfect... I know people say don't trust it but it does lower it. I'm thinking it's ph because surely you wouldn't get calmag def from day 7.

Duhh I did read you are using ph perfect. So are you using AN's calmag xtra then?

I just got done looking at your journal. you might consider using AN's calmag. I was using GO's calmag and it was dropping my Ph. So I made the switch to AN's and it fixed the ph issue.

Lol no worries mate. No I'm using plant magic calmag. Do you think it's anything else from the calmag or is the calmag the problem? I've had it since day 7 that's the only thing. 2 plants are worse as the other 1 only has a slight problem

Well I'm following TaNg's feeding schedule and he used this calmag and didn't seem to uave a problem.. I've spent loads of money on my new setup and trying to not spend anymore money :/ I know your trying to help man I appreciate it but I dunno why tang didn't have a problem with it

So many variables in everyone's set up. Once your dialled in your be able to have More predictable results. A PH pen or decent soil probe will help you decide if PH is the problem although that seems unlikely in soil after seven days and so does cal mag under HPS. Unless your waters well out of whack.
