New Grower Starting soon few questions about Tent !!!

Hey fellow mellow growers,

Am few steps before starting my first grow . i got a couple of questions.

So i decided i will buy a tent which will be placed in an unused bathroom, will clean it and tape close every sink will install an AC so i can control the room temperature will put the tent there ( Please tell me if its not ok to grow in a bath room)

now my question i will get a small tent 24" x 24" x 55" whats the best combination of two pots to install whats the ideal pot size for this tent, or should i use one big pot so i can increase the height thus increase the yield, i will be using LED light , this is my next research but for now i need to order the tent.

i know about LST and am thinking to use large pots and try to maintain the hieght by LST but maybe the tent height is enough and doesnt need LST

Also if anyone can through me advice about LEDs.

My 2 cents for a 24x24x55 sized tent would be 1 3 gallon pot with a Mephisto Genetics Deep Blue C or Sour Crack under a MarsHydro or GalaxyHydro 300w LED. You have just enough height at 55" where you shouldn't have to LST. IMHO 1 large pot is less trouble and more yield than 2 small pots. Have you thought about a DWC bubble bucket? A 3.5 gallon set up would work great in a 32x32x63 tent.

Thanks for your help, does 3 gallon give a good yield it looks like small and i would have empty space for another pot. am not sure since i never worked with any of the items i cant tell how the setup will look like. does the size for the tent fits 2 3gallon pots >>

One plant in a 3 gallon pot done right would fill a 24"x24" footprint very well. 2 3 gallon would get crowded very fast.

I agree with @HotBunz. 1 Three gallon air pot or smart pot with the right genetics will fill that space nicely. I have a gorilla 24"×30"×7' tent that I have tried to run multiple plants in. In my experience they get really crowded by day 35. Now I only run 1 plant and she can spread out and yield better. As far as lighting, I like the marshydro Mar II 400w. Completely covers the space with good results.

This is my Narcotherapy at day 58. She was grown in the small tent by herself and takes up the space nicely.

On maintaining height...... make sure to pay close attention to the genetics/characteristics of the strain you plan on growing...... Thats a mistake I recently made...and now Im praying my plant stop growing up and grow out.

I think i will go with one plant.. Nice plant, how much this beaty yielded ?? what pots are you using??

She is still growing and fattening up, probably start flush in another week. I have a better microscope coming in so I can get a clearer look at the trichomes. The pot is a #3 smart pot. As far as yield, it's hard to tell. The buds are decent size and dense. I figure minimum 3oz dry and cured if she keep on track.
I will put her into my cash crop journal just so I have a record of how she finishes. Follow along if you like.
