Hi. I'm a new grower.
I was thinking about ordering some auto seeds to see if I could get another outdoor harvest in before frost.
I have a few autos going now outdoors, but I ran into a few problems like weather, pests, inexperience....lol, so my harvest is going to be smaller than I would like.
I live in the south central US. Our first frost here is typically the first week in November.
If I order seeds now, I should be able to get them shipped to me and have them started by August 1st. Has anyone ever started outdoor autos that late in the season with any type of success? Do I stand a chance at a late-season harvest, or would I just be throwing money away on seeds?

I welcome any advice and comments. If you think it's possible, do you have any recommendations for auto-strains that are good outdoors, fast growers, and give a nice yield? I'm going to try to purchase my seeds from Seedsman tomorrow if any of you experienced growers think it's possible.

You've got time if you have til 11/1 that would be 12 weeks ... pick a fairly quick one and have at it ...

Nirvana Northern Lights is a popular strain both indoor and out ...

Thanks. That's good news. I ended up finding a strain from Female Seeds called Super AUTO Big Bud. 53 days from seed to harvest, 40-80gm outdoor. So, I'm going to try a couple of those. I have a couple Mephisto Sour Cracks going right now. They should be finishing up soon.

Personally if I was gonna do that i would go with growers choice seeds, I know the Tangerine Dream and Sour Kush autos are fast strains. The drops in temperature at night regardless of frost will hurt the growth and prolong the harvest as well as impact the yield. I wouldn't recommend it unless you can grow indoors. Just my opinion
