For the strains your growing 3 gallon will be more then enough space. I honestly can't recommend the 
OF anymore as they have gone downhill, with recent reports of aphids in the soil. I'd recommend either Promix or Sunshine Mix. The Fox Farm nutes are fine thou.

If you go with one of those, you could start 1/4 nutes at 2 weeks. Gradually building up. Feed the Grow Big til week 5 or 6 or whenever you notice the vertical growth slows or stops.

Well As i know 3 gallon is not enough, because when me have to do that same work so someone suggest me for 4 and half gallon. and I really got very nice experience...
