....No not like that......
If you are Lucky enough to have a camera with a Flash.
Use it.
Photo your girls twice a week..add the photos to a slide show...and you can see how your girls change throughout their life.
It helps you determine plant Health..
by the way the leave shines back at you..
dull..non reflective leaves are either old fans..
or your girl has a Health problem.
The camera picks up changes faster than the human eye does.
It helps you determine tric coverage.
Some plants are Hiders..especially if they have self-coloured trics..
flashing makes them reflect back at you and shows leaf coverage.
This is best done with the lights totally off.
Flash them in the Dark..for Best View.
It helps determine tric ripening..
If you don't have a microscope or magnifying glass..
flash the trics..
and you will see them gradually start to lose their reflectivity as they go over milky.
This is particulally effective when run through a slide show.
It shows the gradual changes..speeded up.
Also..for some reason aphids turn a very strange colour on digital photos...
they stand out like sore thumbs..
so on aphid season..photo the underside of the leaves..
You will be amazed at how often I have checked a girl and thought she was Clean..
then spotted greenfly when I have downloaded the photos.
