Hey y'all, I think I've got spider mites.

Lots of small white spots/lines on the leaf. No visible bodies or bugs yet. I did see a small strand of webbing today. I thought it was from my water, nutes, humidifier, etc since I didn't see any bugs on the top or bottom of the leaves. The white marks looks pretty telling but until I saw a web I thought it was everything else.

Two plants in the same tent. One photo one auto. The Auto is well into flowering but does not have marks except for a couple fan leaves. The photo is still in veg.

What do you better growers think? And what do you recommend to treat the plant with? I have one photo plant in veg still which I can remove from the tent and spray down with whatever.

My auto is far along in flowering, is there anything I can do? Or will I just have to wait until harvest and then wash the buds before drying? If that's not recommended let me know if I should chop it and trash it.

I would think you should see some bugs some where they are going to be tiny. Make sure to check the bottom sides of leaves very good and give thorough inspection watch for movement. Make sure it is mites before a thing drastic is done as far as treatment I would use spinosad of some sort in multiple applications it does the trick for lots of pests.

@Entombed ...that second photo down is exactly what my leaf looked like when I got spider mites... :headbang:

Spider mites need dry warm conditions to thrive...try water spray misting with A drop of washing up liquid in it to bring the humidity up and drown a few of the buggers.

It might keep them under control long enough to harvest.

Then hit the room with some strong killers coz they are a freaking nightmare to eliminate.
(Jeyes fluid did the grow area for me..but I was outdoor..)
Don't forget a good wipe over of the grow light and wires...I think that is where mine were hiding...

Good Luck...

I used homemade orange oil to eradicate them on another plant....but never used that on cannabis......:headbang:
